Ethics
At IKAZZ, we are committed to ethical fair trade practices to prevent exploitation of workers or natural resources in the manufacturing of sports bags and accessories.
Our factories do not have forced labor practices, which means that no one is forced to work overtime against their wishes and if they do work overtime, there is an extra overtime pay allowance.
The manufacturing facilities are equipped with proper lighting & sanitation facilities and the working conditions and equipment are safe as possible to prevent work-related injuries. Some example are that there no exposed electrical wiring / sockets, there is sufficient space between workstations, safety equipment like steel-mesh and gloves and facemask are available for use.
Though many brands rely on promotional merchandise to bolster their marketing efforts, supply chains are often complex and high-risk. It requires a significant amount of work and commitment to ensure that merchandise is produced in the most humane and ethical environments.
- At IKAZZ, we strongly believe that everyone should be entitled to a good wage, safe working conditions and be treated with respect and integrity. That’s why we work hard to ensure that all of our suppliers adhere to our strict ethical code of practice. With more than 14 years of partnering with suppliers worldwide, we keenly understand the risks involved and work to mitigate them on behalf of our clients.
- We work closely with all of our trusted suppliers to ensure they are in alignment with our ethical and environmental standards and that our expectations are clear from the outset. When you partner with Gallop, you can be assured that your product is only sourced from suppliers who demonstrate their commitment to corporate social responsibility.
- All of our suppliers are required to pass strict auditing processes, such as SMETA, BSCI, as well as our own internal auditing procedures. This helps ensure that our supply chain and products are safe, fit for purpose and manufactured in ethically maintained and environmentally responsible conditions.
- Conduct supplier audits to the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) base code standards where possible, such as Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA) and the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI).
